WNY Fall Wedding: Blue and Yellow

Here are some pictures from my recent wedding that took place at the Cattaraugus County Fairgrounds.

It was a really big transformation from an empty hall to the after which was beautiful especially with the candlelight and soft lighting.

My oldest daughter put on chair covers and tied sashes for the 250 guests. She is not anxious to see any of those any time soon.
We hung lots of lanterns which really added to the overall ambiance and wedding feel in the space. I used some of the extra chair sashes to make a focal point behind the head table.

All about Fall : Wedding Decorations

Even though it is winding down a little here in Arcade, Fall has always been one of my favorite seasons and Fall wedding décor is not an exception.  There are so many color and accessory options you can choose from.

If you don’t have a lot in your budget for décor, concentrate on places like the head table or sweetheart table.  Get a decorative tablecloth and chargers to bring in the theme.

Add some decorative table numbers even if you are not using escort cards.  Use seasonal object such as gourds, wheat and leaf garlands.  You can even reuse the chargers in your home later on for a holiday dinner party.

Fall Wedding Decorations

Fall is one of my favorite times of year to decorate.  One of the best things about this time of year is that you can incorporate things like apples, pinecones, gourds, sticks and mums that are already in season.  They look great and for the most part, are kind to your budget.

Brandi and James Rustic Fall Wedding

This is one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever had the pleasure of helping with.  The rustic Fall details were beautiful.  The ceremony took place at their home in the gazebo they built at their pond.  The reception took place at a local Fire Hall.  Two of my favorite things were the window guest book and the Mr and Mrs signs as the guests left the ceremony.

The flowers were done by Elton’s Greehouse, The catering by Chanderson’s and the cake by Butterwood’s Bakery.
